Ruud van Nistelrooy: Former Manchester United Legend and Current PSV Manager

Early Life and Playing Career

Ruud van Nistelrooy was born on 1 July 1976 in Oss, Netherlands. He is a retired Dutch footballer who played as a centre-forward. He played for several clubs, including PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Hamburger SV, and Málaga.

Van Nistelrooy is widely regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation. He was known for his clinical finishing and goalscoring prowess. He won numerous trophies during his playing career, including the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and La Liga.

Post-Playing Career

After retiring from playing in 2011, Van Nistelrooy began his coaching career. He served as assistant manager of the Netherlands national team from 2014 to 2016.

In March 2022, Van Nistelrooy was appointed manager of PSV Eindhoven. In his first season, he led PSV to victory in the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup.
